Freshman Box & Carry Program Outline
- We pull and box REQUIRED * in-stock textbooks.
We DO NOT pull recommended
books or required books for continuation courses unless instructed to do
so.*Due to late book adoptions some books may not be available
at the time we pull your course information.
- Interest-Free Store Charge.
You will have a URI Bookstore Charge Account. You can add, return, or exchange books through the end of the extended period. Please bring your receipts for returns and exchanges.
- Pay Later (Deferred Payment).
Payment is not due until mid-October (Fall Semester) or mid February (Spring Semester).
- Dorm Delivery or Atrium Pickup.
Resident Hall customers, you will be able to pickup your box of books in your building. Commuter students can pick-up in the Atrium, located in the Memorial Union Building.
- Service Fee is ONLY $20 per year.
The fee is billed to your store charge account in the Fall and covers both the Fall and Spring semesters. The service fee will be offset by a number of discount coupons included in your box each semester.
Earn points every time you shop at the URI Bookstore. Redeem points toward clothing and other merchandise.
- Box & Carry customers must
re-register for the program each semester. Your account must be paid in
full by the due date to qualify for a Box & Carry account the
following semester.
